The Dixon Board of Education approved raises for noncertified, nonunion staff and district administrators for the 2025-26 school year following a closed-session discussion, and later approved substitute-teacher rates for the same year.
The board first met in closed session under the employee-employment exemption to discuss compensation and returned to open session to vote. A motion to approve the proposed raises for noncertified, nonunion staff and administration passed on a roll call vote.
Afterward the board approved the proposed substitute-teacher rates for 2025-26. The substitute-rate motion also passed on a roll call vote.
The board asked that personnel paperwork be recorded in the minutes and that the payroll and human-resources offices implement the approved increases and rates.
