A teacher who accompanied the trip said the vendor provided strong logistical support and that parents could be more involved with fundraising to expand future participation.
The board did not approve any new funding at the meeting but discussed continuing the trip in 2027 and the possibility of an overseas trip in a later year. Administrators asked the board for endorsement of continued programming and support for teachers and chaperones to participate in future travel.
