Tim Leffel, the district’s business administrator, told the board the agreement defines who may use the facility, scheduling priorities and other operational matters. "West Point City has partnered with us to build a double sized gym at Horizon," Leffel said, and he specifically thanked local officials for productive negotiations. He said the city had already approved the agreement and the district vote completes the interlocal step required before construction and operations proceed.
Board member Emily Price moved approval; Miss Hogan seconded the motion and the board voted to approve the interlocal agreement.
