The Catalina Foothills Unified School District Governing Board approved revisions to policy IKF (graduation requirements) at the June 24 meeting following a third reading.
Cheryl Castro, the executive director of curriculum and assessment, presented the final draft and noted the board’s requested changes from the prior meeting had been incorporated. A board member moved to approve the revisions; the motion carried 5-0. The board indicated the changes are responsive to earlier requests and clarified that a fourth reading would not be necessary.
The board did not request further amendments at the meeting. Staff confirmed the policy language now reflects the board’s prior direction and will be implemented as adopted.
Next steps: Staff will finalize the adopted IKF language for publication in district policy materials.
