The board then approved Sherry Ladie as principal of The Woodlands High School ninth‑grade campus and Spencer Neal as principal of Conroe High School ninth‑grade campus. Both Ladie and Neal addressed the board after the vote, offering remarks of gratitude to colleagues and families. Each appointment carried by a 6–0 voice/hand vote.
