April Kersey, who led the wellness plan work group, said the committee met twice and engaged in extensive email review; “I sincerely tried very hard to incorporate everyone's comments, so that we had a cohesive document,” she told the council. The draft submitted to the district shortened the number of goals from the prior policy structure and established an annual check-in cycle (previously every three years).
