Conroe ISD reports 42 campuses audited in external intruder-detection review; one finding remediated

Conroe ISD staff briefed trustees on the district’s external intruder-detection audit program and reported that 42 campuses so far have been audited.
“Forty have achieved the goal of having no findings at all on the audit,” the presenter said. One campus had a finding in late January; staff reported the campus would receive the required remediation the following day. District leaders said further legally sensitive details about the finding and any follow-up would be discussed in executive session and at the upcoming safety and security (audit) committee meeting in April.
The board did not take action on the agenda item; staff invited trustees to ask questions in executive session regarding legally sensitive aspects of the audits.
