At the start of its Aug. 19 meeting the Hunter County Board of Commissioners reported that it had convened in executive session earlier that evening to discuss potential property acquisitions and personnel matters.
Assistant County Counsel Aaron Colton told the board the executive session covered matters involving potential purchase of Block 43 and Block 14 in American Township and land in West Danwell Township, in addition to personnel matters involving the county’s remote‑work policy. Colton said minutes of the executive session will be made public when confidentiality no longer exists.
No board action or votes on those matters were disclosed during the public meeting; the board returned to open session and proceeded with its agenda.
