County leadership told commissioners construction crews are working to finish the remaining work needed to secure a temporary certificate of occupancy in time for the upcoming school year. "This ordinance represents the final piece of the financial ... and importantly, it's fully funded without the need for any debt," the board chair said during the meeting.
Why it matters: The vocational school is intended to expand career and technical education for county students; completing the campus before the school year affects program operations and students' access to training.
