The board voted unanimously to approve consent items listed on the agenda after a motion by Trustee Randy Bates and a second from Trustee Steve Mead. Trustees present — Dr. Kimberly Booker, Steve Mead, Rose Avalos, Randy Bates and Dr. Viola Garcia — recorded yes votes; two members, Paul Shanklin and Connie Esparza, were excused.
