The Johnson County Board of Supervisors on Aug. 7 adopted a resolution proposing to grant an electric line easement to ITC Midwest LLC across county conservation land north of Solon and scheduled a public hearing on the proposal for Aug. 14, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in Boardroom 301 of the Health and Human Services Building.

The board voted 4-0 to adopt the resolution and to authorize the county auditor to publish notice of the hearing. The resolution describes the proposal as an easement across conservation property; the meeting record shows only the board’s approval to set a hearing and publish notice. The hearing provides an opportunity for public input before any final action.
