The Johnson County Board of Supervisors on Aug. 21 approved a response letter to Haven Park Communities owners on behalf of Johnson County Residents United addressing manufactured-home community concerns.

The chair thanked staff in the treasurer’s office for verifying tax figures and noted one final numeric adjustment had been made prior to approval. Supervisor Sullivan moved approval of the letter, and Supervisor Green Douglas seconded; the board recorded a unanimous 4-0 vote to send the letter.

No substantive amendments to the letter were recorded during the board’s consideration. The board directed that the letter be transmitted following the final revision and that staff handle mailing or email distribution.
