Richland County Board adopts several resolutions, confirms appointments and elects committee member

Resolutions and other actions (voice votes adopted unless noted): - Resolution 25-25: A resolution recognizing the retirement of Barbara Scott of the Management Information Services Department (adopted; motion by McKee, second by Kramer). - Resolution 25-26: A deficiency appropriation totaling $29,271.97 to various 2024 budget accounts to cover overages; motion by McKee, second by Cooley. Staff explained the overages involved campus (UW Richland/outlay) costs, fair revenue shortfalls and under-collected dog-license revenue; the resolution was adopted. - Resolution 25-27: An amendment to the register of deeds fee schedule to cover increased postage, credit-card processing and electronic recording service fees (adopted; motion by Kramer, second by Fleming). - Resolution 25-28: Approval to purchase one Western Star tandem-axle truck for the highway department with delivery estimated in summer 2025 (adopted; motion by Fleming, second by Kooi). - Resolution 25-29: Delegation of the county’s determination on Wisconsin Statute 74.69 appeals to the Executive and Finance Committee and a procedure to protect appellants’ due-process rights (adopted; motion by Gill, second by Brokens).
