Deputy Administrator/City Clerk (name presented in packet) told the council the contract is renewed every three years and that J and M Displays quoted $15,000 for 2025; she explained the vendor applied an 8% price increase and said the show will be staged after the First Avenue Mile races on July 11 at dusk (with a rain date of July 12). “It’s 15,000 this year ... they are giving us 8% more ... So we'll get extra fireworks for the ... the 11,” the presenter said. Councilors voted to approve the agreement by voice vote.
