Travis Campbell, with Uinta County Economic Development, announced details for the annual Uinta Basin Energy Summit to stakeholders in Vernal: "This year's conference will take place on Wednesday, September 24 through Thursday, September 25 in Vernal at the the UNI Conference Center," he said.
Conference highlights: Campbell said the two-day summit will include about 50 presenters covering petroleum and natural-gas production, updates on local projects such as the Uinta Basin Railway, litigation and regulatory outlooks including NEPA and ozone/FIP impacts, and presentations from state and federal regulators. The summit will also provide multiple networking opportunities and is expected to draw roughly 500 attendees from local, regional and national audiences.
New features: Campbell said organizers are introducing the Basin Burner golf tournament on Tuesday to kick off the summit, followed by a sponsor-hosted reception. Sponsorship opportunities remain available and organizers encourage early registration. For more information and registration Campbell pointed attendees to basinenergysummit.com.
Ending: Campbell thanked local sponsors, the Uinta Conference Center staff, and county leaders for supporting the event and invited interested attendees to register and participate in panels and networking sessions.
