Cindy Bennett, principal of Blake Bass Middle School, said the district’s strategic plan emphasizes student engagement and real‑world skill development and explained the school added the audio, video, broadcast and film course to support those goals. Bennett told the Board, “we're embedding real world project based learning opportunities in all grade levels to enhance student engagement and collaboration.”
