Timothy Myers, applicant for Impact Design LLC, went before the City of Stonecrest Planning and Zoning Department on Aug. 19 seeking a Type 1 special administrative permit to run an online swimwear business from 6386 Charter Way.
Under the permit request, Myers said the business will be e-commerce only and that he ships orders by postal carrier: "I'm strictly selling swimsuits online, to customers wherever they may be. So there's nothing distinguishable on the outside," he said. He told staff orders will be shipped via UPS or the postal service or picked up at a PO box.
Planning staff present — including Senior Planner Ramona Eversley, Planner Felicia Blair and Zoning Analyst Abby [surname redacted in transcript] — asked Myers to confirm he would comply with the City of Stonecrest supplemental regulations for Type 1 home occupations in city ordinance chapter 27, section 4.2.31. Myers agreed. Staff told him he will "receive a decision letter from planning and zoning within 24 to 48 hours." No formal vote or hearing recommendation was recorded during the public portion of the SAP meeting.
The property’s future land-use designation shown in the file is suburban neighborhood, and the underlying zoning is MR1 (medium-density residential). The meeting record shows the Planning and Zoning Department is conducting SAP hearings monthly on the third Tuesday.
A decision letter from planning staff is expected on the application within the 24–48 hour window staff announced.
