Commission approves Tech Electronics contract for access control; members seek clarity on future camera and maintenance costs

The Redevelopment Commission unanimously approved Resolution 25-105 on Aug. 18, authorizing a contract with Tech Electronics of Indiana LLC to install badge readers and locking mechanisms for the Mill/Forge facility. Staff said the expense was a contract to formalize previously approved furnishings, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) expenditures and reflected additional scope beyond earlier networking work.
