The North Scott Community School District Board on June 23 approved Dell bids for technology replacements and network upgrades for the 2025–26 school year.
Staff presented two Dell quotes included in the board packet: a primary bid for about $203,794.60 for scheduled device replacements and a secondary bid of about $34,849.05 for servers and virtual-hosting upgrades used to support the district’s network. The district said the purchases are within the technology replacement budget approved earlier.
Board members asked whether the smaller line item was for network servers; staff confirmed it covers hosting and virtual infrastructure upgrades. A motion to approve the Dell bids was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Staff will proceed with procurement consistent with the district’s annual replacement schedule.
