GCISD trustees approve Brooke Teeter Stokes as Grapevine Elementary principal, 7-0

Trustee Diana Sager moved to approve the recommendation and Kathy Florence Bradley seconded; the motion passed by voice vote. The appointment was part of the board's personnel actions for the evening.
Stokes introduced herself and thanked the board and the district leadership, saying she felt "honored to now lead Grapevine Elementary School." The board noted Stokes has served the district as a teacher and administrator at multiple campuses and is currently an assistant principal at Grapevine High School. The board also recounted that Stokes is a graduate of Colleyville Heritage High School and holds a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies and a master of education in educational leadership from the University of North Texas.
The appointment is effective for the 2025—26 school year. No additional personnel votes were taken at the meeting.
