The Abington Heights School Board voted 7-0 to approve the personnel report as presented, an August volunteer list and a part-time athletic department support job description.

Superintendent Dr. Schafer asked the board to approve the personnel report; the board approved the motion by roll call with all members voting yes. The volunteer list and the job description for part-time athletic department support were each approved by separate motions and unanimous roll-call votes.

During the superintendent's report, Dr. Schafer presented certificates recognizing staff service. He addressed a board member, saying, “Mister Robeson, we have a very, special certificate here for you. 10 years of service.” He also noted another certificate for “Rob” marking five years of service. Dr. Schafer said two people named Jennifer and John would be joining the district from outside Philadelphia “shortly.”

The approvals were routine personnel actions; no personnel details beyond names and tenure certificates were discussed on the record.

Board members present for the votes were Mr. Abdella, Mr. Azar, Mrs. Henderson, Mrs. Hillebrand, Mr. Moran, Mr. Robeson and Mr. Acker.
