District staff said the board inspected the cumulative precinct report furnished by the Tarrant County Elections Office. The district recorded 6,018 votes for Matt Faust and 5,705 votes for Tammy Nakamura in Place 3; Kathy Florence Bradley ran unopposed in Place 4 and received 8,165 votes, according to the staff reading of the results.
There were no public speakers. A trustee moved to approve the canvas and name Faust and Bradley as the winners; another trustee seconded. The board approved the motion by a show of hands, 2-0. The special meeting adjourned at 10:02.
The action formally concludes the district’s review of the official returns furnished by the county elections office; the board did not take further action or discuss changes to the results during the meeting.
