WELLINGTON, Colo. — The Town of Wellington Finance Advisory Board unanimously approved the board minutes from May 19, 2025, and voted to adopt advisory board bylaws dated July 28, 2025 during a special meeting on July 28.
Nick Redavid, finance director and treasurer for the Town of Wellington, opened the meeting, confirmed a quorum (three of four advisory members present) and called for approval of the minutes. The board approved the May 19 minutes without opposition.
The board then considered proposed advisory board bylaws that had been drafted earlier in May and reviewed by the town attorney, Dan Sapienza. The advisory board voted to adopt the bylaws as presented; Redavid said the bylaws will be adopted by resolution of the Board of Trustees and posted publicly on the town website. The advisory board recorded no dissent during the vote.
Jason Mellin, a member of the Finance Advisory Board, corrected the spelling of his name on the record during roll call; Trustee Cannon and advisory board member Nick Nudell were noted as absent. The advisory board moved on after the bylaws vote to an extended discussion of draft financial management policies and implementation steps.
