The Borough Manager told the council the borough received a grant to purchase two new police vehicles and has already put one into service in the spring. The manager said the newly purchased vehicle will be reassigned for code enforcement use as an unmarked car, improving the fleet's condition and replacing older units. "That car will then, be placed in the motor vehicles for the code enforcement. It'll be an unmarked car, and that'll give us our third, which means all our fleet is all fleets are up to within 3 or 4 years in good mileage, is in good in good condition," the manager said. Staff did not specify the grant source or dollar amount at the meeting. No formal council vote was taken; this was reported as part of the manager's update.
