The Arcata City Planning Commission on March 11 voted to adopt Resolution PC25-02 recommending that the City Council accept the city’s 2024 General Plan Annual Progress Report (APR).
Deputy Community Development Director Jennifer Dart summarized the report for the commission, saying the APR “is time again to review the city's accomplishments toward implementing our general plan” and noting the annual APR must be submitted to the state by April 1. Dart told commissioners that Arcata had permitted 83% of its total Regional Housing Needs Allocation, and that “19 of the 22 housing permits pulled were actually accessory dwelling units.”
