The School Committee voted to enter executive session to discuss collective bargaining strategy with Unit A (the Marblehead Teachers Association) and to discuss pending litigation listed as Kelly Ferretti et al. v. Marblehead Public Schools, John Robodeau and Al Williams in Essex Superior Court. The chair stated that an open meeting could be detrimental to the committee's bargaining and litigating positions and declared the committee would not return to open session.
