County to move VMware license renewal and Comcast addendum to consent agenda

The Comcast addendum as presented increases monthly fees across the listed locations by a total of $10 and raises a one‑time fee by $20; staff described the net two‑year contract total as $27,972.77 and the total billed increase for the addendum as $278.40 in the submission. IT staff said VMware licensing allows multiple virtual servers to run on a single physical server, which provides cost savings for the county.
Commissioners had no substantive questions. A commissioner moved and another seconded placing both IT items on next week’s consent agenda; the motion carried on a voice vote. Final authorization will be on the consent agenda when votes are recorded in the official minutes.
