Nancy Stiles told the Village of Beach Park board that she called deputies twice on Aug. 2 about an ongoing loud-party disturbance; she said Deputy Anthony Martini responded both times and that on the second visit he told her he would write a citation, but she has not received confirmation.
The board's sheriff liaison, Sgt. Heiney, who was present in the meeting room, said he would check the department’s records and relay whether a citation was issued. Village staff asked Stiles to check back with staff at the end of next week; staff said they would follow up and provide any information available about whether a citation was written and what, if any, next steps occurred.
No citation paperwork was presented at the meeting and no further formal action was taken; staff and the sheriff's liaison will investigate and report back to the resident and village staff.
