“We want to be a good partner to the city of Coral Springs,” McGovern said. She said Comcast’s Florida regional headquarters are in West Palm Beach and that about 1,200 Comcast employees work in Broward County.
Commissioners thanked Comcast for the proactive steps and asked the company to continue communication as the build proceeds. The vice mayor requested the dedicated email address be repeated for residents; McGovern provided it on the record and said Comcast staff in South Florida will receive and handle messages sent there.
