The committee had reviewed definitions and operational rules for different device types in prior meetings and the materials presented to the board incorporate those definitions.
Committee members had the opportunity to comment, and staff noted the board could have referred the ordinance back to committee but chose to act without a recommendation. No new committee vote occurred at this meeting; the update was informational.
