At the meeting, working-group staff confirmed subcommittee assignments and logistics for upcoming work and announced a contractor selection for the planned Ag Behavioral Health Summit.

Subcommittees and work Plan

The group has formed three subcommittees: best practices (led by Chad), data collection (led by Catherine Harvey) and outreach (led by JC). Members were asked to sign onto the work‑plan document and volunteers were encouraged to add their names to subcommittee rosters. Catherine’s group will compare data sources and resources, with an aim to catalog existing evaluations and identify gaps; the outreach subcommittee will develop an updated statewide map of ag behavioral‑health providers with graduate‑student support.

Summit award and next meeting

Robert announced that the Ag Behavioral Health Summit RFP was awarded to Rocky Mountain Farmers Union; planning meetings with the contractor will begin in a few weeks. The working group scheduled its next regular meeting for July 22 as a hybrid session with in‑person location at Colorado State University Pueblo; an RSVP form will collect attendance, dietary restrictions and reimbursement requests. The group plans an extended day (10 a.m.–2:30 p.m.), a lunch and some time for in‑person committee work.

Reimbursements and materials

Staff reminded members that reimbursement procedures and resource links are on the meeting agenda and will be re‑circulated. Rosie will add a suggestion box for presentation ideas to the RSVP form and will send the RSVP with meeting minutes and reporting materials.
