Huntersville board updates rules of procedure to reflect Tuesday meeting schedule

The Huntersville Town Board on Aug. 19 unanimously approved amendments to the Board of Commissioners Rules of Procedure to change agenda ordering and to update meeting days to the first and third Tuesday of each month.
Town staff said the changes are non-substantive reorganizations of the rules and an administrative update to reflect the board's current schedule. Anthony (staff) and Emily (staff) presented the proposed edits and said the changes are not "earth shattering" but intended to clarify formatting and the meeting calendar.
A motion to approve the amendments to Rule 6 and to amend Rule 1A to reflect meetings on the first and third Tuesday passed unanimously. Staff said no further substantive changes were intended beyond the order and calendar update.
