The City Council approved on second reading an amendment to Chapter 13 of the Unified Land Development Code relating to exterior colors. The city attorney reported there were no changes since the first reading on Aug. 19, and staff presented for council action.

A motion to approve the ordinance passed on a 4‑1 vote. Vice Mayor Pontieri voted no; Council members Gambarro, Miller, Sullivan and Mayor Michael Norris voted yes. No public speaker challenged the change during the meeting.

City staff did not present supplemental amendments at second reading and the ordinance will take effect according to the city's ordinance schedule. No additional action was taken at the meeting to modify the code beyond adoption of the color provisions.
