The Davenport Community School District board voted unanimously to approve the 95% plans and specifications for the West High tennis court replacement project following a public hearing with no public comment.
The board chair opened the public hearing and noted the notice was published in the Quad-City Times on Aug. 11, 2025. No members of the public spoke for or against the project, and the hearing was closed.
Director Hayes moved approval of the 95% plans and specifications “for the West High Tennis Court replacement project as shown in the 95% plan and specifications.” The motion was seconded and carried on a roll-call vote with all present directors voting yes.
Why it matters: Approving the 95% design package is a typical milestone that allows the district to finalize construction documents and move toward bidding and procurement.
