Monroeville moves November council work session and citizens night to Nov. 6 because of general election

The Municipality of Monroeville Council on Sept. 9 voted to change the date of the November citizens night and council work session from Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, to Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. The change was made because Nov. 4 is the date of the general election.

Council made the motion, seconded it, and approved it by roll call. The action updates the meeting schedule for November and will be reflected on future council agendas, the clerk said.

Why it matters: rescheduling avoids conflict with election-related activities and preserves council and citizen access to the meeting. The change ensures the municipality’s public meeting schedule does not compete with Election Day.
