The Northside School District Board of Education approved a districtwide strategic plan for 2025–28 and directed staff to complete detailed action cards and a performance dashboard to track progress. The board voted to adopt the plan after a presentation by administrators who said the item had been developed with substantial community and staff input.
The plan sets district goals and will be followed by “action cards” that name responsible parties, steps and timelines, according to board discussion. Superintendent Joe presented the need to finalize action cards and replace older materials with new plan visuals for public display.
Board members emphasized the time and community involvement required to produce the plan. One board member said the document “took a lot of time from a lot of people in the community” and thanked staff for the work. The board noted that the final dashboard and action cards will appear in upcoming meetings for monitoring and accountability.
The vote to adopt the strategic plan carried on a voice vote. Board members did not record a roll-call tally in the minutes; the chair called for “all those in favor” and members responded “aye.”
The board will receive the action cards and a dashboard in future meetings and will use those materials to measure implementation and adjust priorities where needed.
