Board approves Cedar Hill High principal and chief academic officer

Cedar Hill ISD trustees unanimously approved two administrative hires July 21: a new principal for Cedar Hill High School and a chief academic officer (the position formerly titled assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction). The hires were presented by administration following interviews.
The board made the motions, and both were approved without recorded opposition. Administrators noted the hires are part of the district’s leadership staffing to support implementation of curriculum and school operations for the upcoming year.
