Weld County Commissioners approved a temporary closure of County Road 4 between County Roads 13 and 15 to allow Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo) to perform maintenance on a 16-inch high-pressure natural gas line. Amy Machi of Public Works said the closure is requested to permit excavation within the road surface; the closure period requested is Sept. 2 through Sept. 12, with local access maintained from County Road 13 and a paved, dust-treated detour available.

Staff said the closure is closest to County Road 15 and that the detour is paved and dust treated. The board approved the resolution by voice vote. The transcript did not record any public objections or additional mitigation measures beyond the detour description.
