Weld County commissioners approved the Facilities Department recommendation to award bid B2500092 to NoCo Energy Solutions for $998,189 to upgrade heating, ventilation and air-conditioning at the Human Services Building B.

The award was presented as the low bidder that met specifications; Facilities said the upgrade will replace the HVAC systems in Building B. The bid award was moved by Commissioner Kevin Ross and seconded by Commissioner Scott James; commissioners approved the motion by voice vote.

The board also continued the annual concrete bid (B2500101) to Aug. 27 at 9 a.m., after consultation with Public Works, to allow additional review before final action.
