The Weld County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 13 accepted replacement collateral for special review permit USR22-0024 (Lytle Farms LLC, care of Sunshare LLC, doing business as Beckley Solar LLC) to change the surety bond identification number on file.

Planning staff member Diana said the request was limited to acceptance of a surety-bond rider that changes the bond identification number; no other terms of the bond are changing. The bond on record is $119,824.01 insured through Atlantic Specialty; Diana said Atlantic Specialty sent a rider on the same day as the October 2024 hearing requesting a change to the bond number to 800137709 and the rider was received in the mail Oct. 16, 2024.

Commissioner Kevin Ross moved to accept the replacement collateral; Commissioner Jason Maxey seconded the motion and the board approved the resolution. Diana confirmed the replacement is recorded as a change in bond identification only and that the bond amount and surety remain the same.

The board record shows the replacement collateral was accepted by resolution at the Aug. 13 session; no additional financial adjustments or permit-condition changes were discussed on the record.

This action specifically changes the administrative bond identifier associated with USR22-0024; the underlying special review permit conditions remain as previously approved.
