The San Luis City Council unanimously adopted Ordinance No. 470 to annex slightly more than two square miles of contiguous territory to the city, staff said.
Planner Jose Guzman summarized the final step in a year‑long annexation process and said the annexation includes an infrastructure and service plan and zoning classifications for the territory. Guzman told council the ordinance would become effective on Oct. 26.
Councilmember Javier Vargas moved to read and adopt the ordinance by title; the measure carried unanimously.
