The South Lyon City Council voted on Aug. 25 to authorize Oakland County to provide property-assessing services for the city under a three-year contract effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028.

Staff presented a copy of the contract and noted that initial rates are established in the contract for the three-year period. Staff requested a technical correction to the account number for billing to GL account 101-220-802.

Council member Bogart moved to approve using Oakland County to handle assessment-related duties for the city for the contract period. The motion passed on a roll-call vote.

No additional conditions or amendments to the contract were recorded in the meeting minutes excerpt; staff said they had attached a copy of the contract in the meeting materials.
