The Rich County Commission unanimously approved two business license applications: one for Fearless Hoops basketball training, operated by Abby Watcott, and one for Taylor Graphics, operated by Taylor Walker.
Abby Watcott, who said she was born and raised in the county, described Fearless Hoops as a basketball‑training and mentorship program for young people that offers group sessions and one‑on‑one training. “I'm Abby Watcott. ... It's basketball training, but it's more than basketball,” Watcott told the commissioners, saying she operates under an LLC, carries liability insurance and has used local facilities including the Kemmer Recreation Center and the elementary school gym.
Commissioners moved and seconded approval of her business license and the motion carried unanimously.
Taylor Walker said Taylor Graphics will provide digital design, logos, T‑shirt graphics, posters, videos and photography and that he currently operates out of his home and at designated locations for shoots. “My name is Taylor Walker. ... I'm trying to do digital design in the area,” Walker said. The commission approved Taylor Graphics’ business license unanimously.
Both license approvals were routine: staff confirmed insurance and facility arrangements during the brief public presentations and directed applicants to follow up with county offices for payment and record copies.
