Fiscal Court approves cash transfers, voucher register and distributes $395,230.68 in August transient room tax

McCracken County Fiscal Court on Sept. 8 approved routine fiscal orders including cash transfers of $230,000 to cover county bills and payroll, and approved payment of voucher claims totaling $691,288.57 for the period Aug. 28–Sept. 8, 2025. The motions were recorded as carried.

The court also approved the August 2025 transient room tax distribution in the amount of $395,230.68. The court minutes list the distribution as follows in the order presented on the docket: CVV (listed in the minutes as $115,143.33), Convention Center ($78,665.99), (recorded text) "through the commission" ($120,873.12), and "as for a fund" ($80,578.24). The minutes do not expand on those shorthand labels during the recorded motion.

All motions related to transfers, vouchers and the transient room tax distribution were approved on the record. The court announced there was no need for an executive session and adjourned after routine business.
