The City Council swore in Viridiana Rosales Trujillo as a newly appointed member of the City of Imperial Planning Commission.
Mayor Pro Tem Ida Obezo Martinez introduced Viridiana Rosales Trujillo, who said she has lived in Imperial for 17 years and currently serves as manager for the Imperial County Small Business Development Center. Rosales Trujillo said she holds a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in leadership and graduate certificates in urban management and urban development.
During the ceremony she thanked supporters and said she looked forward to applying her experience to the commission’s work. The mayor administered the oath of office and council members took photographs with the appointee following the formalities.
