Santaquin — After its regular meeting on Sept. 2, the Santaquin City Council voted to recess into an executive session to discuss multiple closed-session topics, including imminent or pending litigation, collective bargaining, and proposals involving purchase, exchange, lease or real property and proposed development or financing agreements.
A motion to recess into executive session was moved and seconded and passed on a voice vote. Council members recorded as voting aye during the roll call on the motion were Bridal, Art, Jeff, Lynn and Mayor Travis Kiel.
The council said it would return later the same night to adjourn from the regular meeting after completing the closed-session matters. No substantive details from the executive session were disclosed in the public record during the Sept. 2 meeting.
