Morton County commissioners approved the final plat for the short-form Lenny Subdivision on Thursday, allowing creation of one residential lot that contains a nonconforming residence. The parcel is located in the northwest corner of Section 10, Township 140N Range 84W, approximately 1.5 miles south of the Oliver County border east of County Road 84.

Planning staff said the lot is already served by Missouri West water and electrical service; the proposal included an access and utility easement to serve the new lot. Planning and Zoning recommended approval and the commission granted the final-plat and zoning map amendment from agricultural to residential.

The commission moved and seconded approval with no public opposition recorded at the hearing.
