Board discussion described the program as well received by staff and noted nurse follow‑ups sometimes lead to beneficial health interventions.
The district also completed a competitive bid for physical education uniforms after dissatisfaction with the prior one‑year supplier. Administration recommended awarding a three‑year contract to Ambassador Apparel—identified as the lowest bidder and a longtime vendor—with a contract recommendation totaling $93,600. Staff said the vendor’s quality and customer service were deciding factors.
Both contracts were approved without recorded objections and will be implemented according to the timelines described by staff.
