Staff acknowledged the comprehensive exterior plan will likely exceed funds originally pledged in the five‑year plan and suggested leveraging community donations, a common practice cited in the presentation, to supplement district capital funds. The presenter also said savings from referendum projects and corporate personal property replacement tax receipts could serve as seed money for the next five‑year plan.
Staff proposed bringing year‑two of the district’s full facilities plan to the Buildings and Grounds Committee in July and to the full board in August as an action item.
