The Lincoln Way board unanimously approved the consent agenda and voted to accept invoices and the district’s December financial reports at its Jan. 16 meeting.
The board approved invoices dated Dec. 20, 2024, through Jan. 16, 2025, in the amount of $3,087,928.70. Trustees then accepted the treasurer’s December 2024 report and the student activities report for December 2024 by unanimous vote.
In his report, Dr. Dubeck, identified in the meeting as the district treasurer, said that in December revenues totaled $3,700,000.00 and expenditures totaled $9,100,000.00. The all‑funds cash balance as of Dec. 31 was reported as $68,800,000. Through the first half of the fiscal year, the treasurer reported 47.2 percent of budgeted operating revenues had been received and 49.6 percent of budgeted spending had occurred. He also reported liquid investment yields near 4.4–4.5 percent, several T‑bills maturing in January and an expected roughly $200,000 in investment receipts when those mature.
The treasurer said the district’s tax collection rate for 2024 closed at the highest level in four years and that the district expects to bring a first read on registration fees and meal prices for 2025–26 in February.
Separately, the student activities report showed a fund balance of $2,390,388 with revenues of $600,419 and expenditures of $656,006 for December; administrators reported no activity accounts were in the negative at year‑end. Trustees voted to accept that report as presented.
All votes on the consent agenda, invoices and the financial reports were recorded as unanimous. No board discussion altered those items during the meeting.
